OUR DADS

We are currently looking for an adult standard male Poodle to add to our breeding program, either to purchase or standing stud dog. Our preference is Red or Apricot in colour and must have a nice, kind nature. Ideally this special dog would need to live in Brisbane or Ipswich area. 'Habibi', our wonderful F1 Mini Groodle male.

Habibi is a gorgeous gentleman weighing 18 kg . His height is about 60 cm to the shoulder. He is a non shedding F1 miniature groodle. His hips are excellent, as are his parents' and his conformation lovely. Habibi has a kind, gentle and intelligent temperament and has fathered a number of dogs belonging to families with children with disabilities.

Habibi's Dad is Nelson , a miniature poodle and Mum is Kimba, a lovely golden retriever, full sister to Sasha.

Nelson Hopping

'Nelson' is a gorgeous miniature apricot poodle belonging to the Hopping Family. He is a devoted and loyal family pet and is of sound constitution. He is an easy going poodle who does not stress as some poodles might, is active and affectionate. His gentle nature endears him to all of us. Nelson is no longer used as a stud.

Nelson is the father of Habibi. Nelson weighs 11 kg.

*Nelson's lovely brother 'Sunny' was also used in the project in the early years.

OUR MUMS

'Dili' Thorley

Dili is an F1 standard groodle out of Misty (Sasha Attard's sister) and Wally , a red standard poodle.

She is a sweet, easy going and bubbly little girl who, if all goes well, will commence her breeding career in late 2010. She is the female balance for the Thorley family of three boys who love her dearly.

We are currenlty planning Dili's 2nd litter. More updates will be posted soon.

'Elsa' Madsen

Elsa is a gentle natured, smaller type black labrador, who, as you can see, is adored by her family. She is surrounded by children and other animals, and loves her life. Her hip score is excellent and conformation lovely. Her puppies will be absolutely fantastic family dogs which we expect to be intelligent and not too large. If you are a lover of labradors and would like an added softness of spirit you can not go past her puppies.

' Milly' Mitchell

Milly is one of our newer Groodles to join the program, she is due to have her first litter late 2011 or early 2012.

Milly is comical, playful, gentle and very social. She is full of boundless energy and loves greeting both humans and other dogs on our walks. She is fantastic with small children (my nephew and countless friends kids) who are around the age of 1, she will just sit with them and let them pull, prod and poke her without any problems.

She currently weighs 22kg and has been this weight for a while so I’m guessing this is probably her full grown weight.

'Jeannie' Mobbs

Jeannie is a golden retriever belonging to the Mobbs' menagerie. She is an intelligent, affectionate and placid golden retriever who loves to please. She is a small type ,weighing just 24 kg.

Her puppies by Habibi have been absolutely exceptional in temperament and type.

Jeannie's mum was 'Bella' Press (26 kg) and dad was 'Charlie' Press (24kg). Jeannie is currently having a well deserved rest from having puppies, perhaps she may have a litter in 2012.

'Kazzie' Hughes

Kazzie is a glorious medium sized F2 groodle who is our feature on this website. She belongs to Kristy Hughes, who has trained her to a high level in Obedience. Intelligent and sensitive, Kazzie is a perfect dog.

Her Mum was Skipper, an equally brilliant F1 groodle, and her Dad was Mozart, a large and happy groodle.

Kazzie weighs about 20 kg.

'Sasha' Attard

Sasha is a Golden Retriever belonging to the Attard Family. She is an active, happy, devoted dog who is dearly loved by her family. Her father 'Harry' Jones, is a large, sound, happy retriever who is a long term client at our clinic, and her Mum was Sasha Swindon, an obedience champion with hip scores of zero. Both of Sasha's sisters , Kimba and Misty, have been a part of the East Timor Project and have produced wonderful puppies in the past, including Habibi.

Sasha's previous puppies have been in great demand and of excellent constitution.

Sasha has now been retired from breeding, we thank her and her wonderful family for thier contribution to the timor fund. We are very excited to welcome three new golden Retriever pups that Sasha recently gave birth to ( Feb 2011) who have found local families and are all joining this wonderful program. Welcome to "Ruby" Gordon, "Miley" Gordon, and "Cindy" Colledge.

'Skipper' Kessels

Skipper was a magnificent foundation groodle, the mother of Kazzie and many other gorgeous groodles. Sadly Skipper passed away earlier this year and is missed by her family.

*We have had very few concerns with puppies which we have bred, and if such concerns do arise, they are taken seriously and parents retired from the breeding programme as required.
